Katie is a Corpus Christi native practicing Oil and Gas, Real Estate and Energy Law.

Katie Schuetz has been an attorney at Welder Leshin LLP since graduating from South Texas College of Law in 2010. Her practice focuses primarily on representation of electric utility companies, including drafting and negotiating easements and rights of way and acquisition of real property interests for electric transmission and distribution systems. She also assists in eminent domain proceedings for the acquisition of real property rights needed for electric utility projects.

Katie’s practice also includes oil and gas transactions and title examination. She has represented oil and gas companies and landowners in oil and gas leasing and conveyancing transactions, determining ownership of surface and mineral estates and examining and analyzing title instruments. She has also drafted and negotiated oil and gas leases, pipeline easements and rights of way, surface use leases and agreements and production sharing agreements. Katie also represents landowners in other real estate matters.
