Frank L. McNiff, Jr.


Frank L. McNiff, Jr. is a founding partner of Welder Leshin LLP.

A graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and a former Coast Guard commanding officer, Frank brings extensive nautical experience to the practice of Maritime Law and Litigation.

Frank represents ship owners, agents, charterers, maritime employers and contractors in all areas of maritime torts, seamen’s injuries, contracts, oil and chemical spills, and other regulatory violations. He also has experience litigating cases involving charter disputes, cargo claims, property damage, and other matters involving maritime commerce.

Frank has also built an active general litigation practice representing insurance companies in personal injury and other torts, and involving trucking accidents and commercial disputes.
